About Garden Sage

Garden Sage is an independent, Irish-based plant-care app. It is designed to help people identify plants, understand visible problems and keep the information that matters as a garden changes over time.
Where it began
When a garden outgrows memory.
Garden Sage began as a practical way to keep track of a real garden. As the number of plants grew, so did the things worth remembering: seasonal jobs, changing care requirements, uncertain identifications, possible diagnoses and small observations that only become useful later.
A name or one-off answer was not enough. The useful record was the one that stayed with the plant—what it was thought to be, where it was growing, what had changed, what care it received and what happened next.
What the app is for
Make the next plant decision easier—and preserve it for later.
The goal is to make plant identification, ongoing care, garden memory, diagnosis and seasonal planning easier without pretending that a photograph can answer every question.

Information that stays useful
More than a static plant reference.
Garden Sage combines useful plant information with workflows for managing plants over time. A guide can answer the immediate question; in the app, the saved plant, its watering and feeding record, and later photo checks can stay together.
A saved plant can also retain its location, indoor or outdoor state, planting type, light, soil and drainage where those details are known.
The editorial guides remain useful on their own. They explain the evidence, uncertainty and physical checks behind a decision before any product workflow is introduced.
A restrained approach
Useful first. Certain only when the evidence supports it.
Garden Sage is built to support practical observation and follow-up. It keeps possibilities separate from confirmed facts, avoids definitive diagnosis from limited evidence and can point to professional help when the consequence of error is high.
It is a serious consumer software product, but a modest one: the work is to make a real garden easier to understand and care for, one plant record at a time.
