Built by gardeners in Kildare, Ireland. Garden Sage helps you identify plants, understand visible problems and keep the information that matters as a garden changes over time.
Where it began
When a garden outgrows memory.
Garden Sage began as a practical way to keep track of a real garden. As the number of plants grew, so did the things worth remembering: seasonal jobs, changing care requirements, uncertain identifications, possible diagnoses and small observations that only become useful later.
A plant name was only the start. It helped to keep a record of where the plant grew, what changed, how it was cared for and what happened next.
What the app is for
Decide what to do next and remember what you tried.
The goal is to make plant identification, ongoing care, garden memory, diagnosis and seasonal planning easier without pretending that a photograph can answer every question.

Information that stays useful
More than a static plant reference.
Garden Sage helps you look after plants as they grow and change. A guide can answer the immediate question; in the app, the saved plant, its watering and feeding record, and later photo checks can stay together.
You can record where a plant grows, whether it is indoors or outside, whether it is in a pot or the ground, and what you know about its light, soil and drainage.
You can use the guides while checking your plants, with or without the app. Each explains what to look for and where more information may be needed.

Garden Sage is built to support practical observation and follow-up. It keeps possibilities separate from confirmed facts, avoids definitive diagnosis from limited evidence and can point to professional help when the consequence of error is high.
